City streets and motorway junctions

Preston is where the M6, M55 and M61 all come together, so plenty of breakdowns happen on the roads in and out of the city as well as on its streets. If you stop on a motorway or a fast dual carriageway, get out on the side away from traffic, go behind the barrier and call 07340 200898 with the junction number and direction.

In town, the usual calls are a car that will not start (see jump starts), a car that needs taking to a garage, or a car that has just been bought and needs collecting.

Excellent service from the recovery truck driver. He was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout. He went above and beyond, especially while we were waiting for the garage, and made a stressful situation much easier.
