Jump Startcall-outs across Lancashire

Is it the battery?

The usual signs are a slow, laboured crank, a clicking noise when you turn the key, or nothing at all apart from a few dim lights on the dash. Cold mornings, short journeys and a car that has been sat for a while are the classic causes. Lights left on overnight will do it too.

What to tell us

The make and model, where the car is parked and whether we can get alongside it. If it is in a tight spot, on a steep drive or in a multi-storey car park, say so, because it helps us plan the call-out.

After the jump start

Once it is running, give the battery a chance to recover with a decent drive rather than a quick trip round the corner. If it goes flat again soon after, the battery may be on its way out. Ask about our mobile car battery service, and if the car still will not go, we can do a recovery to a garage.
